Who we are
The Atlantic Science Links Association (ASLA) is a volunteer-driven science promotion organization which coordinates free outreach initiatives to boost connectivity between the science community, schools, and the public.

Conference for Science Teachers
The Atlantic Science Links Association (ASLA) presents its fourth bi-annual Conference for Science Teachers. Join us this November for a day of hands-on labs, introducing science concepts and activities to bring to your classroom. Click the button below to register!
Completely free of charge (sponsored by Dalhousie University Faculty of Science, and Engineers Nova Scotia).

Event: ASLA’s Conference for Science Teachers
Date: Saturday, November 22nd, 2025
Time: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (lunch and tea/coffee included).
Location: Dalhousie University (Life Sciences Center, Room 5055, Dalhousie University, 6287 Alumni Crescent, Halifax, NS B3H 4R2)
Target Audience: Science teachers (especially relevant to grades 7-9 Nova Scotia science curriculum, but all teachers are welcome).

Ocean School: An Immersive Resource for Science Education

Identifying Rocks and Minerals​
The day will also include an info session on making science fairs work for you, from Halifax Science-Tech Expo (HSTE) Chief Judge, Julia Sarty.
